Privia Health has been recognized by Healthcare Business Review Magazine as the exclusive recipient of “Top Physician Network Management Solutions 2026,” based on our proprietary methodology, reflecting its position in the industry, and is also named among “Top Practice Management Services,” reflecting its broader leadership. This profile has been developed by the Healthcare Business Review research and editorial team based on insights from an interview with Parth Mehrotra, CEO.

Privia Health
Autonomy at Network Scale

Privia Health

Independent physicians commonly face a choice between preserving control of their practices and gaining the resources of a larger organization. Privia Health offers another route. Its physiciancentered model lets practices retain clinical and financial autonomy while joining medical groups supported using shared technology, administrative services and local teams. The arrangement gives doctors greater scale without removing their voice from decisions that shape patient care.

Privia Health brings physician practices, health plans and health systems together in primary carecentric networks that also include specialists. These networks are built around medical groups and riskbearing entities, all connected through a shared technology and services platform. By January 2026, the model supported more than 5,300 providers at over 1,300 practice locations serving more than 5.8 million patients.

Preserving Independence Through Scale

Privia Health brings multispecialty medical groups together under a single tax identification number, giving them a stronger position in payer negotiations while improving clinical coordination and coordinating financial incentives. Practices also benefit from collective purchasing power for laboratory services, ancillary care and everyday supplies. Through the wider network’s management services organization, individual offices can access tools and resources that may otherwise be too expensive to obtain independently.

Joining a larger network does not mean physicians give up control over clinical decisions. Doctors lead Privia’s medical groups and help guide priorities at the local, regional and national levels. Task forces and peer communities allow them to contribute where their knowledge is most relevant. The Clinical Leadership Program carries that input into decisions about workflows, patient access and practice growth, helping ideas from the front line take hold across the network.

Physician-organized delivery groups keep this governance structure active. Doctors within each region consistently review performance data, compare experiences and discuss changes that reflect the needs of their communities. Population health, coding and other specialists add their perspectives to these conversations. This allows local teams to improve care in ways that work for their practices while remaining aligned with the network’s wider goals.

Connecting Work On One Platform

The Privia Platform places practice management, revenue cycle support, patient engagement and care insights within a common environment. A shared electronic health record helps information follow the patient and supports coordination among primary care physicians and specialists. Clinical guidelines, payer data and documentation templates appear inside the physician’s workflow, lessening the need to search separate systems during an encounter.

The platform supports the everyday work of care teams. Huddle reports help staff prepare for scheduled appointments, while automated outreach reminds patients when they are due for care. Through the patient portal, patients can book visits, contact their care team, check results and pay bills. Telehealth gives them another way to consult a physician, and the 24-hour nurse advice line offers help with urgent questions after office hours.

It also gives physicians useful information when making referrals. The platform shows clinicians commonly used across the network and helps connect patients with specialists and facilities based on quality and cost performance. Tiered referral pathways make it easier for primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate and share clinical information. This reduces the risk of duplicate services and helps doctors stay informed about care delivered outside their practices.

Reducing The Business Burden

Technology is paired with teams that take on contracting, credentialing, billing and other time-consuming work. Revenue cycle services use analytics, defined performance measures and automation to improve accuracy and accountability. Provider education strengthens activity at the front of the cycle, where documentation and coding decisions affect later reimbursement. The approach earned Privia Health a 2026 HFMA MAP Award for revenue cycle achievement.

A pediatric case from Bayside Pediatrics shows the effect at the chart level. Physician Lauren Casey previously spent hours correcting coding problems in patient records. Privia’s charting process requires an appropriate ICD-10 code before a chart can close, and displays a curated set of choices. She no longer reaches month-end with batches of returned charts, leaving more time for direct pediatric care.

At Bayside Pediatrics, a parent’s morning call, the child’s appointment and follow-up scheduling are all handled through the same connected process. Lab results reach the physician’s inbox directly, so they are less likely to be missed. Referral prompts were particularly useful to Casey when she joined, pointing her toward Privia providers already familiar to others in the network.

Advancing At A Measured Pace

Practices do not have to leave fee-for-service revenue behind before they are ready. Privia Health first helps them strengthen practice management, improve patient access and refine care workflows. From there, they can gradually move into more complex value-based arrangements. Administrative support gives physicians time to understand new requirements, while analytics helps them choose programs that match their current capabilities.

Risk adjustment and HCC coding education help care teams document patient conditions accurately. Audits review the quality of that work, while consultants gather population health measures. Data aggregation, benchmarking, patient outreach and care-gap notifications help teams identify patients who need attention. Insights from electronic health records and payer data are available during the visit, allowing physicians to act while the patient is still in front of them.

Practices can begin with arrangements that offer upside incentives before taking on contracts that include downside risk. Regional population health specialists help build the local care networks required to manage these agreements. During physician-organized delivery meetings, doctors review performance openly, discuss the findings and decide how to respond. By the end of 2025, Privia Health supported 1.54 million attributed lives in value-based care, a 22.7 percent increase.

Proving The Network Model

The model’s impact can be seen at both the individual patient and network levels. In one documented case, an expectant mother checked the patient portal after a prenatal appointment and discovered abnormal lab results. She went to the hospital and underwent an emergency cesarean delivery for a serious pregnancy complication. Her experience shows how timely access to information and a responsive clinical team can change the course of care.

The results across Privia Health’s network further demonstrate the model’s impact. By January 2026, it had generated more than $1.5 billion in cumulative shared savings and achieved savings through the Medicare Shared Savings Program for 10 consecutive years. Its implemented provider base also grew 12.3 percent to 5,380 in 2025, while practice collections reached $3.47 billion across different reimbursement arrangements.

These results come from a model that protects the independence physicians value while giving practices resources they may find difficult to develop alone. Doctors remain involved in important decisions, shared infrastructure manages routine business functions, and data supports their move toward value-based care. Its wide adoption, consistent performance and measurable savings make Privia Health a fitting recipient of the Top Physician Network Management Solutions 2026 award in the public company category.
