Fremont, CA: Tridiuum, a digital behavioral health startup, has been acquired by New Directions Behavioral Health, a complete behavioral health solutions provider. This collaboration creates a leading provider of technology-enabled behavioral health services, allowing New Directions' dedicated care teams to provide more direct and immediate access to providers for its more than 15 million members nationwide, resulting in increased quality of care through measurement-based outcomes.

Tridiuum expedites patient access to its most appropriate treatment by automating behavioral health screening, triaging, matching, and online scheduling via its simple system that can effortlessly connect with current platforms.

This acquisition builds on New Directions and Tridiuum's previous successful relationship through their Florida-based initiative, which debuted in December 2021.

More than 450 people had been screened as of January 14, 2022, five weeks after the cooperation began, with the average time to first appointment being around four days. Compared to the current standard of care average of 25 days for a first appointment, the most challenging timeframes reach 90 days. In its initial phase, more than 100 provider practices have already joined the initiative, providing important physical and mortar alternatives and a solid national virtual presence to New Directions members.
