HCCA Academies are built around active participation led by a faculty of experienced compliance professionals. In addition to receiving expert instruction, attendees work through exercises, solve problems, and trade ideas in a small group setting. Class sizes are purposefully limited so that every participant can talk directly with faculty and their peers. Participants often report that some of their greatest Academy takeaways are the strong bonds they form with their fellow attendees, which frequently lead to career-long professional relationships.
Each Academy ends with the option to take the matching professional certification exam from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® on site (a separate application and fee are required):
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)®, offered at Basic Academies
• Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC)®, offered at Privacy Academies
• Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC)®, offered at Research Academies
Earning a CCB credential demonstrates that a professional has real expertise and is committed to the field.
Enrollment is limited to keep the classes interactive, so early registration is encouraged. To learn more or register, visit www.hcca-info.org/conferences/academies.
