FREMONT, CA: Dario Health, a leader in the global digital therapeutics (DTx) market, has announced the launch of three new employer client contracts, including one global partnership, for the company's new behavioral health solution powered by wayForward. These contracts, which are for a fixed monthly cost based on the number of employees who have access to the behavioral health platform, are projected to contribute to revenue beginning in the third quarter of 2021.
The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the significance of promoting employee behavioral health, and businesses are increasingly citing mental health as a major organizational priority. According to a recent poll, 70 percent of US businesses consider mental health to be a key workplace concern, up from 59 percent the previous year.
Dario's behavioral health solution solves an unmet need in most companies' behavioral health benefits for the enormous number of people who would benefit from some support but do not have the severity of behavioral health issues that necessitate clinician visits.
Its artificial intelligence (AI)-based screening mechanism, digital cognitive-behavioral treatment modules, and human coaching enable us to care for a bigger number of patients at a lower average cost—a distinct approach in comparison to the competition. Importantly, clinical tests have demonstrated that our treatment greatly reduces anxiety and depression.
"We are excited to add additional customers for Dario's behavioral health solution and believe it continues to validate the expansion of our platform through the acquisition of wayForward. We believe that these contracts demonstrate the importance of being able to provide individual and integrated solutions while delivering significantly improved health outcomes and savings," stated Rick Anderson, President and General Manager, North America, DarioHealth, "We are also pleased to report that we have recently been selected to provide multiple solutions for several employer customers and look forward to announcing them once contracting is complete."
