Therap's EVV products offer a complete solution to help service providers document data at the point of service.
FREMONT, CA: Information and tools to manage health care and receive medical treatments from a distance are becoming necessary in the current situation. Computers and mobile gadgets like tablets and smartphones are technologies that are utilized. Therap Services declared the integration with a new Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) aggregator for providers delivering home and community-based personal care or home health services under the Medicaid State Plan.
Therap Services is one of the leading providers of Software as a Service, offering data-driven and HIPAA-compliant electronic documentation solutions for care providers in Personal Care Services (PCS), Home Health Care Services (HHCS), and other human services settings.
The federal government has mandated EVV check-in and check-out for PCS/HHCS providers delivering in-home visits and community-based assistance to clients in Wyoming in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act.
This law aims to verify the number of hours home health workers spend providing services and guarantee that beneficiaries who have been permitted to receive care do so with dependable and verifiable service delivery. Professionals who deliver services under the Community Choices Waiver and the Comprehensive and Supports Waiver are required by the Wyoming Department of Health to use EVV to verify visits in real-time.
All six of the following federally mandated data components are collected and verified by Therap's EVV software:
• Type of service performed
• The person utilizing the service
• staff administering the service
• Starting and finishing Period of service
• Duration of service
• Location of services delivery
Even when an active internet connection is limited or absent, Therap's Scheduling/EVV module enables providers to effectively check-in and out online and remotely using mobile devices that contain geolocation and timestamp collecting components.
